Outcast improves to 4-1 on the season, while Nemesis drop to 1-2.
This is the fewest points scored in a game this season by Outcast, and the first time Outcast shutout an opponent this season. The victory gets Outcast back on the winning track after a loss in their last game.
This is the fewest points scored in a game this season by Nemesis, and the first time Nemesis failed to score against an opponent this season. Coupled with a loss in their previous game Nemesis is now on a two game slide.
This was the first meeting between these two teams.
Gametime temperature was a mild 68 degrees under overcast skies.

05/07/14 10:59 | All defense. Both teams got into the red zone a couple times. With the exception of a missed field goal, both teams held it down backed into their own endzones. Unfortunately stopping them on 1 yard line put us in postion for a safety, which made the difference.
It was a good battle. Looking forward to hopefully playing them again. |
