09/16 : Triple Crown slips by Collision 21-20

Triple Crown improves to 2-0 on the season, while Collision drops to 1-1.

This is the most points scored in a game this season by Triple CrownCoupled with a win in their previous game, Triple Crown has now won two in a row.

The loss comes on the heels of a Collision victory in their last game.

These teams had played each other twice prior to this matchup. Triple Crown won both of those games. Their most recent matchup was Nov 10 2009, 21:10, a Fairfax County Flag Football League "A" playoff semifinal game which Triple Crown won 28-7.

Next up for Triple Crown is Sharks (0-1). That game is scheduled for Sep 23 2010, 21:00 at Braddock Park#7.

Collision will face off against Badboyz (1-0) on Sep 27 2010, 22:00 at Braddock Park#7.

Collision took advatage of a late arriving Jock lad to TC to put up 7 quick points and then stopped TC. Jock and his defense arrived and shut Collision out for the rest of the half. TC scored on there next two possessions yo go up 14 - 7. TC took he second half kickoff and put up 7 more and then stopped Collision. Just when everyone thought the game was over, TC thew a pick, Collision took a short pass for 70 yards and scroed two plays later thanks to bad flag pulling. TC could no run out the clock and a bad punt gave Collision a short field with under a minute. Collision scored on a hail mary as the game expired on a great catch. They "maned up" and went for the win and missed.

They dressed up like lions for the 2pt conversion? That seems like a silly thing to do.
