09/30 : TMT defeats The Truth 14-7

TMT improves to 2-1 early in the season, while The Truth drops to 0-3.

Coupled with a win in their previous game, TMT has now won two in a row.

The loss continues a 2 game skid for The Truth which now extends to 3 losses in a row. .These teams had played each other twice prior to this matchup. TMT won both of those games. Their most recent matchup was Aug 03 2014, 21:00, a IFFL Sunday Night Summer League "Open" regular season game which TMT won 14-0.

Gametime temperature was a moderate 62 degrees under clear skies.

Next up for The Truth is Novacaine (0-1). That game is scheduled for Oct 09 2014, 20:00 at Braddock Park.

TMT will face off against Outcast (1-1) on Oct 05 2014, 08:00 at EC Lawrence Park#2.

How is there a A league game on Tuesday, so much for the new mandatory playing day for each level....hmmm, what say you Josh?

Answer is simple. The county took 2 of our fields on Thursdays away this week due to JV Football. So TMT and Truth rescheduled to help out.

They don`t take your field, you didn`t have the fields those days to begin with. These are not week to week permits where you don`t know. Will there be any other times when the county "take" our fields?

That`s a rather uninformed statement. We do have the permit for Centreville High School Fields 1 and 2 on Thursday nights from 8 PM to 11 PM. If you`d like to see a copy, I`ll be happy to show it to you in person.

You are correct in that permits are not "week to week", however, when you are dealing with a school field (and some other cases), the county will modify your permit at times as the school always has the first right of refusal. These mods are handled via email.

I`ll go ahead and tell you they have removed the field for 10/15 as well for High School football and we`ve had ECL 2 reaassigned on 10/12 (Sunday mornings) for a Youth league tournament. It happens, its part of our job to deal with it.
