The victory continues a 8 game winning streak for Venom which now stands at 9 wins in a row.

This is the fewest points scored in a game this season by Abusement Park. The loss ends a 2 game winning streak for Abusement Park.

Prior to this game, these teams had met only one other time, on Jul 18 2013, 21:00, a Fairfax Mens Summer Flag Football "Open" regular season game which Venom won 14-0.

Gametime temperature was a warm 77 degrees under clear skies.

It was an honest mistake, I should`ve signed us up, but I lost track of the registration dates. Didn`t know it was such a big tourney, this is only our second season in this league.

If you guys accept, Tom will allow it. He has already agreed and will even supply the refs.

Bootleggers I appreciate your feedback, but truthfully it`s hard for me to understand why if one of our best players got exposed and EVERYONE thinks we are going to have such a hard time in the Fall Season A League, why someone won`t accept a challenge with something on the line.

I really don`t understand how we don`t just get respect for the way things unfolded this season. I`m the first one to agree that we have a long ways to go to become elite, but one thing I will promise you, every time we get on the field we are bringing 100% heart with us and we will compete against anyone.. Not at all, the Firm actually were the first to reply to the email by Tom and my whole team has respect for them. We respect all the teams and always show love, we are just passionate about the game and that may rub people the wrong way. We all understand why some of Firms players think it doesn`t make sense to play us considering they traveled to play in the tournament. They are one of the best teams in the Nation and we can`t wait to play them some time in the future.

Cool, we took 2 loses, we had huge issues with our starting QB, which I`m sure everyone is aware of, had to make adjustments the week before the playoffs, and came an interception in over time, with a finger tip drop, in a rainy game. Sh*t happens, that`s football. But, look what we did in just 3 games. I don`t understand how that is being cowards. We fought through adversity, went out there played ball, and made a great run. We ain`t going anywhere for a long time, so get use to us. If we don`t make it into the Bark Bowl, see you in the Fall League (A League). Good Luck!

Who you play for in the fall?

From what I hear AP has divided into 2 maybe 3 teams next season do to the lack of sportsmanship and what being a teammate is really about. Reading this msg board I cant imagine how this could happen lol. Good luck to everyone next season.

It was actually due to lack of performance. As soon as we went up against A League competition, our QB threw 9 interceptions. Once we attempted to make a change at the position and move a different direction with QB, he didn`t want to be part of the team anymore. I support his decision, and hope he does well, maybe we just are not the right fit for him. Who knows, he could come out there with his new team and not only shock us, but the whole league, he does have a cannon. We can`t force anyone to move forward with us. We are all still good friends and this change will actually really benefit the League and Tom. Now there is 3 new teams going in to the fall season. Our old QB will have a new team, including with one of our other good friends from our previous team, and with that being said we will support them and wish them the best of luck.

Ultimately we are all humans and a lot of us are friends even from different teams. I`m sure we can all agree everyone is very competitive and of course we all want to win. Some people see the sport differently and that is fine. We as a team feel we have a very bright future and believe we made a very good run, while dealing with adversity and only having a very short period of time to adjust and prepare for the post-season.

With that being said, on behalf of my whole team, I wish you all the best of luck in the Bark-Bowl and in Fall.

Lost to the firm 24-14. Had only 8 players all day and no subs since Tom told us late last night there was no spots than ended up calling us at 7:30 am and letting us know someone backed out. So we played with who we could gather together last minute. It was a great tournament and glad we had the chance to play in it

Yea, FIRM has an amazing team. Very organized and chemistry was where it needed to be. Both of our loses came to the teams that played against each other in the championship game The Firm & Prime Time from Richmond (Herbalife). They are both outstanding teams. We are very happy that we played in the tourney and didn`t shy like most other teams would`ve. We still went out there and played our asses off even with no depth. Would we have loved to win, yes of course who wouldn`t. But we are are also realistic athletes. Our main purpose for being in the tournament was to get a feel for what to expect this upcoming FALL season. These teams have been together forever and had over 25 players on their sidelines. Congrats to everyone in the tournament.

Sometimes as an individual you need to step outside the box and look in. After throwing 9 interceptions in 2 games against A League talent. You still don`t want to allow someone else to get a chance to throw the football. How about you being all about ME. Not only do the players that you forced to leave the team with you disagree highly, they are all upset that you decided to make the move. Are they good friends, yeah they had your back when they shouldn`t have. But as we all know those players are easily replaceable. Not only did the team think you should get benched after the performances, everyone from the fans, other teams, referees, and people running the league agreed. J I have always showed you love and all of your friends. Even though the way you went about things wasn`t how I would`ve, I still respected your decision. But, don`t come out here talking about family leaving the team, because you are just talking out of your ass. We have one of the strongest core group of friends you could ever meet in the world. And our football team is coming together better than it ever has been. As for the players you took with you, which ultimately were your friends, I like, we are cool, but they can easily be replaced, which I will show you this upcoming season. Not to leave out, that they also come along with some kind of baggage that I could care less about having on my team. Especially the two best players out of the group you took with you.

As for the way our team is, I strongly believe anyone would love to join it. Money is not an issue, you get connections like no other team can offer (Women & Clubs), and we have a really fun time together. With that being said, we ultimately want to WIN and true ball players will respect that as well. Not only win any league championship, but when up against the best teams in the Nation.

You can bash us as much as you want, say family is even leaving, how we have a bunch of egos. It`s not going to affect us at all and we will continue to move forward looking to achieve our goal. Which is being one of the Elite Flag Football Teams in this area. This doesn`t happen over night, but trust me we are headed in the right direction.

We used my younger brother to play qb who was on the team all season. That wasn`t his position but we went with it and we made it to the a championship with no qb and lost in overtime with NO QB. so yes he was on the roster. ANTHONY AND DJ played qb

Thanks man, we got a call from tom at 7:30 am saying someone backed out so we could play. So we played with who we had. It was a great challenge and it helped us see where we are at and how the competition is out here. Looking forward for fall, let`s all stop the talking and let`s all play and enjoy the game
