10/22 : TMT bests 7 PT Spread 21-14

TMT improves to 6-1 in the late stretch of the season, while 7 PT Spread drops to 4-3.

The victory continues a 5 game winning streak for TMT which now stands at 6 wins in a row.

Coupled with a loss in their previous game 7 PT Spread is now on a two game slide. .This was the first meeting between these two teams.

Gametime temperature was a cool 53 degrees under mostly cloudy skies.

Next up for 7 PT Spread is Showtime - Winch (3-3). That game is scheduled for Oct 31 2013, 22:00 at Braddock Park#7.

TMT will face off against The Union (1-4) on Oct 31 2013, 20:00 at Centreville HS#2.

tmt #10 don`t fall prey to the closets. No player from the spread gets on here and makes statements without signing in. Cody and I are the only ones that get on here really. As far as it being a big game to be honest it`s no bigger than any game we had played till that point. Now our game against showtime that`s a big game because it`s the difference between A playoffs and B playoffs. We definitely played hard and played to win PERIOD. Is 6-1 because they haven`t played any of the top teams yet. Their record won`t matter come playoff time when they get beat by a better team like Collision or GameFace (again). Maybe you can get t-shirts made for a successful regular season.

we all know it is TMT players. No need to deflect this on other people. It`s good that you all are confident; sad you all feel the need to hype yourselves up and search for compliments.

My players rarely ever get on the MB unless it`s brought to their attention that they are being talked about, and even then, it`s rare and they sign in or at least say it`s them speaking if they even write. The majority of time they just laugh it off. The only ones that get on, is myself signed in and my other coach, which always says it`s him.

Every teams main objective is to win it all, get the trophy at the highest level of play. WIN THE CHAMPIONSHIP!

If anyone says they are EXCITED to go through our team to get to that trophy waiting for one of us, because we SUCK, you are not only lying to the MB and everyone else, but also to yourself.

There is no need for us to hype ourselves. We haven`t came close to accomplishing the things we look forward to in the future. I LOOK AT THE BIG PICTURE. The majority of you all still think we are a B+ league team, which is funny to me, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion. We go out there and play one game at a time. It`s our first season with all of us together and I love what I have to work with. Are we confident? YES! We think we can beat anyone and that is the kind of mindset we will always have.

The best part about this whole thing is all the HATING! First we are some ****ty team that comes from the C League last spring, then we made a lucky run because the competition in the Summer A League is horrible (even though we lost to Venom in OT by 3 points), then everyone is talking about wait until Fall A League you guys wont even win a game, then it`s because of our weak schedule, even though we just beat 7 point spread, which in my opinion is one of the best teams in the area hands down, and NOW we are 6-1 going in to the playoffs and people are like wait until you play Collision or Gameface (2 of the best teams in the league) hahahaha lolll. We look forward to playing every team, we don`t make the schedule, and feel we have beaten some good competition. May the best team win, when the game is played. We are having fun and can`t wait for the post season.

Like I said I`m glad you boys are in the league and play and talk a lil bit. Makes the games more fun. We are a confident team and we were talking as well. End of the game we all shook hands because it`s all in good fun. We all play to win games and championships

As someone who you may call a doubter for TMT. I think I doubted more the consistency that your team would play it.

Its one thing to have talent and be good. Its another thing to do it on a consistent level.

Congrats on the win. TMT just beat a team that some would put in the top 10 of states.

7Pt Spread - 6-2 in CVFA and 4-3 in Fairfax. Hopefully this is a good sign for Fairfax going into States!

B+ Team or not, any given day you play, your capable of losing to ANYONE that`s why you go out there and you have to play well or you take that L; no knock on TMT but they were greatly doubted as to their abilities on the field but with one loss on their record to arguably a top 5 team in the entire state, I think their well on their way to being above a B+ team

Trash talking or not, they`re winning and that`s all that matters

Look at it this way to all the TMT haters. They won every game this season with the exception of GF without a QB until Tuesday night. Even the GF game wasn`t as bad as the score said it was TMT had the ball and could have drove down to win the game. Theres a lot to be said about how well those players have gelled and come together as a team. Zack is there now and he had two really nice games back to back which lets Frank move to WR. Its just flat out gonna be tough for anyone to match up with that team now. Its no surprise they talk **** on the msg board its what the coaches do for a living they promote. People from other teams actually come to watch them play there games against other (good teams) in the league. Who comes to watch your team play??
