I`ve noticed recently a lot more hostility from the refs this season. Especially if players argue rules with them (example: if a flag called is supposed to be loss of down or redo down). I`ve found some of them getting attitudes and yelling at players even if the mistake is on them. Which then results in bad calls mad to punish those players/teams. As well as them just flat missing calls. I know no one is perfect I`m just bringing this up because I`ve noticed it a lot more this season. Has anyone else? |

They are probably sick of being *****ed at. Yeah they miss a call or two, some worse then other, but most of them will treat you w/respect if you do the same. |

No, the refs are fine. They do the best they can do. Stop committing penalties. Stop blaming the refs when you lose. |

IF any team has a serious issue with a call or the way a game is officiated, please have the coach contact me. I will in turn contact the head official, and he will take the matter up with the officials(s) for that particular game. This is the way the chain of communication is set up.
Having said that - we all know full well that at any level of sports, officials are human beings just like us. If you push their buttons too hard they may start looking your way a little closer. We all know this. Let your coach deal with the complaints though me and Carlton - we have a system and it works when used the right way. |
