It`s looking like.
1.) Collision (5-1 currently, projected: 7-1)
Will be tough for these guys to lose to either Orange Assault or The Bulldogs. I mean, literally, with 7 players, I still think they win by multiple scores. They have the tie breaker over the over one loss teams, Novacaine and Cougars.
2.) Novacaine (currently 6-1, projected: 7-1)
No way to get to #1 unless Collision blows it against a B+ team. Cougars vs. Novacaine COULD determine #2 spot next week. Either way Caines, will be #2 or #3 seed, no better no worse. That will lead to a tough first round match up against either The Wolves or TMT.
3.) Banditos (currently 3-3, projected: 5-3)
Bulldogs are only other 3 loss team. They have Collision and Bootleggers. Should beat the Bootywiggles, but not Collision. Sorry, its just not going to happen. Banditos will destroy ADD, and most likely regain A League form and beat The Cougars out of desperation to make The A League playoffs and not be summoned to the dreaded B+ playoffs. Unless Cougars beat the Caines, they should get the #3 spot if they win out.
4.) Cougars (currently 5-1, projected: 5-3)
No way they have more than 3 loses. I could see them maybe pulling off one win next week, depending on how Caines and Banditos play. Both games will be very close. Cougars are the real surprise team of this season. I don`t even think they signed up for A League, and they are almost guaranteed a spot in A League playoffs. Nice work. These guys could be anywhere from the #1 seed to the #4 seed depending on how next week shakes out, but I see the latter based on a difficult schedule. No shame either way, these guys stepped up this year.
Outside looking in:
Bulldogs: Unless they pull of a miracle and beat Collision, they are going to have at least 4 losses. That is good enough for a tie breaker over Banditos if The Cougars can beat them, but they still lose the tie breaker to M-City. Bulldogs only option is to win out, and that will be tough.
M-City: These guys have played they`re whole season already, so all they can do is keep their fingers crossed and hope things go their way. They have to hope them, the Bulldogs, and the Banditos all wind up 4-4 and they take the tie breaker due to PPA. That would mean Cougars beat Banditos and Collision beats Bulldogs, BUT the Bulldogs must beat Bootleggers. Otherwise, Banditos get the head-to-head over M-City and PPA is irrelevant.
I think M-City kind of got screwed with their schedule. They have A League potential and it showed in very close games against Showtime, Novacaine, and Collision (lost all 3 games by a total of 5 points). I think if M-City played Cougars, they win. But it is what it is! Couldn`t have predicted this stuff. I definitely see them in the B+ Championship, with a bright future in A if they stick with it.
No matter what, there are no easy playoff match ups. Even Collision will be stuck with 7-Pt Spread or Showtime in round 1. Yikes.
Good luck to all teams!

NOT SO FAST MY FRIEND...they`ve won 6 of 7 games...That`s why they play the games; whether win by luck or not, their still 6-1 and earned it b/c they`ve handled their business whereas the teams beneath them, regardless of the skill level they have, those teams have not...Plain & Simple...can`t argue that point at all
If caines are the worst team in the league at 6-1, what does that say about the "better" teams, some of which they`ve already beaten??? Food for thought |
