Novacaine 7-1 (2A) v Wolves 6-2 (3N)
Novacaine is the higher seed here but has a lifetime 2-5 record vs the Wolves. Each time these two teams have met in the playoffs in the past few years, Wolves have moved on. Novacaine has had a pretty solid defense this season and only one loss all season (Collision 0-20). Could this be the time they get over that Wolves hump? Not sure it is that time. Although the Wolves defense struggles at time, they have had one of the toughest schedules in the league. Playing vs both #1 divisional teams and handing Collision its only loss (17-14), these guys are the clear favorites in the books. Their trickery will be key to throwing that stingy Novacaine defense off balance.

TMT 7-1 (2B) v Banditors 5-3 (3A)
Few teams come into this league in their first season and make a statement. Gameface, 7pt and Spartans are the ones I can think of in the last few years that have done so, and I think only the Spartans made it to the finals in their first season of the three. TMT has only one loss on the season which came way back in the opening week of play to the top team in the league. Since then they have grown as a team but they have only played one other playoff team after that, which they struggled to beat. Banditos have been decent this season. With 3 losses on the year, one to ascarppy team and 2 to the teams ranked higher than them. They are a disciplined team that will put some point up. If they can rattle the inaccurate TMT QB and force some punts then they may be able to pull off the upset. Have your best 2 guys cover DJ on 3rd downs and you will be fine.

Collision 7-1 (1A) v 7pt Spread 5-3 (4N)
Collision has won the last 2/3 vs 7pt (2-4-1 lifetime), including a semi-final win vs them is the 2012 Fall playoffs. They are 7-1 this season with a loss only to Wolves, who 7pt beat this season, so it’s the most interesting matchup of the first round. Best stat though, is that Collision has only given up 38 points ALL season. They have had 4 shutouts, not counting the forfeit they also got because the team was so scared they didn’t even show. Neither team is scared of each other here and 7pt can put up some points when needed. This one is a tossup, but many would lean to the side of Collision because of the tough defense.

Gameface 8-0 (1N) v Cougars 5-3 (4A)
Undefeated and reigning FCFFL champions get a softball in round one. Cougars have lost to every playoff team they have faced this season by a margin of two scores or more, but they are here and anything can happen. Just don’t think it will happen this time. The Cougars soft defense are no match for Manny and the Cougars offense will struggle to move the ball vs the Gameface defense. Gameface is simply on another level right now and should cruise through this game.

Banditos QB sucks big blllz and that rush from TMT was the dif in that game. got QB scared out the gates and never stopped.
