Really? How can you make this list and NOT include the My Plumber/Blue Iguana teams and their 3 A State Titles?

I would have to say Gameface and 7 point from what I`ve seen so far. But we are new to this league so I`m not familiar with some of these teams... Gameface is on a huge winning streak right now

Its obvious that this person was not around long enough to know about My Plumber/Blue Iguana.

Gameface and 7Pt have not put toegether a dynasty yet. No offense to either team.
Gameface/Scarface/Pens have been on a roll as of recently but 2-3 championships is not a dynasty.
And 7PT won 2 league Championships in a row but were up and down since then.

Come on man no one would beat them in their prime.

No one cares about when the league was so sh*tty anyone could`ve won it. We`re talking real competition (when teams like Firm and Gunz came about and actually made things competitive in the state).

TC and Kerns are the only ones to ever make it to Sunday at States. GF hasn`t even come close unless its B.

My Plumber, should have included them. It`s funny looking at old pics of them playing the Gunz before they were as dominant as they are today.

My Plumber/Blue Iguana won multiple state and national titles. Sorry, but I can`t think of GF as anything but the old B league Pens now playing in a watered down A league.

They beat NOVAs twice, and Gunz once on their path to their state titles. Also beat Power92 (iPower/Solider) twice. I`ll give you Sharks had their number in league play, but I`ll take the 3 state titles over a winning league record any day.

Oh, and they lost to Sharks in the 2003 tourney.

My Plumber was big, then in their later days an up and coming Sharks team took the throne. Same thing seemed to happen with Triple Crown coming up as The Sharks were fading out. However, there hasn`t been a clear passing of the torch since. We`ve had a lot of different champs, which shows the strength in league play growing.

Wow your teams were good in 2005. I hope you receive etrnal glory for your achievements. Thanks for checking the messageboards after you retired from the league. Anybody want to talk about the watered down A league semis?

Brions Grille/Iguana/My Plumber 1994-2002, and its not close. Although they played before and after those years - those were formative, and then declining years. That 8 year stretch would be a dynasty.

They often declined to participate in the FCFFL playoffs, because they were more focused on the State Tournament/Nationals than anything else.

Its telling that our league as a whole won 6 straight "A" Tournament Championships during that period. No other league has ever done that. Red Dogs and SE Raiders/Cap Countdown were also around, and also won "A" State Titles. NOVAs also competed on Sunday at States and at Nationals.

I would put Sharks next from a league perspective. They completely owned the league for a few years. I would not necessarily combine Sharks and Kerns because they did play as separate teams for a while, and Sharks did not completely combine with Kerns - just took on some of their players.

I won`t comment on the current teams, but right now the competition and talent level at the top in our league is the best it has been in 10 years. We did pretty well at States last year but should have done much better. This year we will, for sure.

On average in this age, it takes a team about 5 or 6 years to break through and finally win the "A" State title, so you have to hold your team together that long, and compete at the top level during the year that long to get there.

Note that Tom said 5 to 6 years to win "A" states, not "A" league play. To put that in perspective, Gunz didn`t win until their 6th tournament. They`ve now won the damn thing 7 times, had one 2nd place finish and 5 3rd place finishes. That`s over a span of 14 years. Not 14 seasons, but 14 years.

That means that from a state perspective, teams like GameFace/Pens, who`ve been around since about 2007 are just getting started. Keeping a team together that long is a tough, tough thing to do but I believe in the long run that kind of persistence will pay off.

Since States and Nationals is in Fairfax this year, I`d encourage all of you, whether your team is playing or not, to go by and check out some of the games. You`ll get to see some really good talent and games. And if Gunz show up this year, just listening to them talk is worth the gas money to go to the fields.

Look at our commish(s) getting behind our 703s, it`s that time of years fellas. We need to come together and support one another, I don`t care if you are on 7pt, TC, GF, TMT (yes them), Da Truth :) ...lets bring the crown back home....

Would be great if we had both A and B division state chaps right here on home field!

Our teams can compete with 804, 540 & 757 teams as the best the state has to offer, as we seen last year with SC down in Richmond & GF here this year at Bark Bowl; all the teams mentioned above have an array of talent and leadership that goes un noticed; I think as long as these teams continue to stay together & gather experience along with chemistry, 703 will claim another state title sooner than ppl think

Finished 3rd to Primetime and Firm in Richmond regular season this fall. Playoffs this weekend.

What in your opinion does it take to become a dynasty? Chemistry, sticking together, constantly trying to get better players...

maybe 4? GF/Collision, TMT, Wolves and Novacaine

Gameface/Scarface - This makes a difference because if its Scarface, then you know Collision is not going to be in it.
Collision/Wolves - They`ve combined before.
7PT Spread - Always been a good tournament team.
TMT/Panorama - Would they go A?
Triple Crown- will they try and get back together? Or are they done.
Stone Cold- heard they aren`t going this year.
Novacaine - maybe?

We should hopefully have a lot of teams competing in states at the B level.

Don`t know why some of the top teams would merge. I don`t think it would dilute the talent but chemistry is important. They should remain seperate, then try to fill a few spots with other top players not in the tourney. Now back to the pipe.

After having to decline last years invite due to our QB being in a car accident. I am excited for our first shot at the B state tourney.

Collision and Wolves are both good enough to compete on their own. But it seems like they have combined multiple times over the years.

For some of these teams, its not about combining as much as scheduling. Several teams are very different on Weeknights compared to weekends.

TMT/Panorama would not be a combined team. I don`t know how much different there two teams are. DJ and maybe another 1-2 guys.

Gameface/Scarface are two different teams with 3-5 core guys.

Tmt is the best now we r young and ready for states.
