In B I noticed that 8 teams made it from both division...That is what it said when you click on Playoff B Bracket. The only reason I ask is because an earlier post you said only 6 teams.
Could you clear this up please? |

Yeah, 8 teams from each division are in the playoffs. Is that clear enough? |

I did post about this contingency earlier and the specific situation in which this would happen, but will repeat for clarification. It would have been only 6 from each division if we could have played week 9 in B National, which fell two weeks behind B American.
We can`t hold the playoffs up for a week for the rest of the league because one division falls behind - and those teams have to get their 9th game in for us to know who the top 6 would have been and then how they were seeded.
Another element is game scheduling. You`ll notice exactly 9 games per night (MON/TUE/WED), gets the one C division their 8th regular season game in plus all leagues to the semifinals. That is maximizing our field space. There is no way to know what the weather will do from week to week, and we need to take advantage of the time we have.

Tom,
Do you realize that the 1st playoff game is on halloween and you will have a lot of players that are unable to play because they have kids and family restraints. You should really move it one day. |
