Theoretically Winchester is located in Northern Virginia. The Northern Shenandoah Valley is part of Virginia. Therefore, the Sharks will represent Northern Virginia in the kickoff classic. Maybe, the student to teacher ratio in the city was unable to provide the proper one on one time in geography class. By the way, try spell check next time.

actually..while, geographically, one could consider winchester part of northern virginia...politically, culturally, and socially, winchester fits with central virginia. therefore, the sharks do not represent northern virginia and you are henceforth not as bright as you thought.

There is concrete evidence from any map that Winchester is located in Northern Virginia. So let`s agree to disagree.

Geographically...virginia is divided into four regions.(e.g. tidewater, piedmont, etc.)...the term "northen virginia" fits more with social and cultural characteristics. "Professor", try as you might, you represent an inferior part of virginia and your teammates still wear bandanas on their head. enjoy your view of the mountains.
