you people are dumb. "It`s recreational flag football". Yes it is, but you also pay to play the games. When a team forfeits you are essentially giving up your money for no game = loss of $$. you paid for nothing. When you factor in what you would pay per game for team fees per game, you now pay extra per game because that team didn`t field a team. Unless you play on tmt |

forfeits may suck but losing all your key players to injuries sucks worse. Novacaine was a depleted squad that couldn`t field a team because of it. At least they gave some heads up. The commissioner could easily schedule more games for those teams who didn`t get as many as the others but no one can get in touch with them so take it up with the league (the only party involved who doesn`t lose money). |
