How many forward passes is a team allowed to throw assuming they do not cross the line of scrimmage? In the Andes/Chuds game last night I believe Ande`s threw 3 forward passes on one play, with first two being caught behind the line of scrimmage and the 3rd crossing the line. How many forward passes can you throw if they do not cross the line of scrimmage? I always thougth it was one but I very well could be wrong. Thanks.

as long as the ball does not cross the line of scrimmage you can throw as many passes as you want.

The answer above is correct and was mention to the teams last night as well by the refs.
