Don`t use the Richmond tournament to gauge our play in Fairfax. Wait! Do think thats how we play! You`ll be the first to hit 95 South at 9:30am!

Nothing is set in stone yet. We put the wheels in motion a few weeks ago and things are progressing nicely.
The only reason we could not host States in the past is that it must be a rain or shine tournament, and we all know how that goes in Fairfax.
Now that we have enough turf fields in the same vicinity for the tournament we can do it.
Our intention is to host the VA State Tournament in 2008, but it not official...yet. |

One more thing, to "hey" - it is certainly an advantage to the local teams when their area hosts the tournament. Players and teams who otherwise cannot make the tournament will participate and vice versa with Richmond teams.
On top of that, out of town teams will have to adapt to turf pretty quickly - especially against teams who will have been playing on it for 2 years come December 2008.
