I have posted the playoff schedule for next weekend. Before anyone asks, we had a 3 way tie between Infamous, Warriors and Truth. In this situation, not all teams had played each other, so this goes to head to head records between the 3 teams. In this case, Truth is 1-0 and takes the 2nd seed, Warriors are 1-1 and take the 3rd seed and Infamous is 0-1 and takes the 4th seed.

Also, the tie between Spartans and Stallions goes to Stallions because of their head to head win.

There`s a bug with the rankings system on the website that keeps me from adjusting the standings, but it`s reflected correctly on the playoff bracket, which is posted here:

WOW 3 or 4 GAMES on a Sunday morning.

Who will have the endurance to take this CHIP?

Some teams will need to play 4 games others 3, either way I foresee some folks cramping up and wishing they had not drank those few beers the night before.

Its going to be a battle between Huskies Truth Infamous and Warriors.

We will see who wants it fellas!

Who gets lucky and squeaks in?

Who can stay discipline?

Can Spartans Bearcats X, Stallions Passassins, Surprise everyone and end up in the CHIP?

Its wide open for anyone to take.

There`s a SIGNIFICANT chance of rain this weekend, and we have some games scheduled for the grass field (ECL 1).

So in the spirit of planning ahead, I`ve posted an alternate schedule in case ECL 1 gets rained out. It`s posted on the schedule page and changes the playoffs from 1 weekend to 2 weekends. The games are listed on the schedule as being played on ECL 2 (RAIN) and ECL 3 (RAIN) for this weekend and the bracket is posted as Spring Alternate Schedule.

Please make sure you look at this and know what the alternate plans are.

As for communications and making the call on the field status, I`ll try and let everyone know as far in advance as I can. My hope is to go check the field Saturday afternoon and see what shape it`s in. Either way, we`ll have something out to everyone by 6:30 on Sunday morning at the latest.

Most teams will have players absent 5/29. Are there any other options? could we utilize another turf field that morning nearby? Braddock Park, Centreville HS, Arrowhead, Chantilly HS? Poplar tree?

Josh, you know that fairfax county is going to close the field and you know nobody is going to play Memorial day. Let`s go plan B and make it known early tonight.
