Things are shaking up at the top. Tough to call right now with them losing to each other, but here it goes-
12 - Greyhounds (0-3)– I guess they didn’t use their off time wisely. I suggested they go recruit while they were off, but it appears they just hung out at the bar and they looked like they were in hurry to get back they way they played vs TC last night. Next week they face Bad Boyz so they may at least have a competitive game. (Last week #12)
11 – Rejects (0-2) – Did you get that scrimmage in like I suggested? Hope so cause you got the Warriors coming out to playyyyay….Surely your stout defense will hold vs a former B league team, right? (Last Week #11)
10 - Bad Boyz (1-1) – Didn’t play due to the light issue. Sucks to drive ALLLLL the way out there and then have something like that ruin your night. I guess they can take out that frustration out on the Hounds in hopes to avoid dropping into the cellar. (Last Week #9)
9 – Collision (1-3) – Talk about a turn around from last season, these guys can buy a bucket right now. Maybe all those sissy co-ed games are taking their toll on these softies. They need to commit to one or the other because they are struggling right now. This coming week they take on the Pros who will be coming off a good game and looking to roll through Collision so don’t expect anything different from these guys. (Last Week # 8)
8 – Banditos (2-2) – Got a tough W vs Collision so they are at .500 so far, and better than most predicted at this point. Whatever game plan they executed vs Collision they need to try to use to get a 2nd win in a row vs a physical Spartan team. Not sure this one will be that pretty for them and we may find a few robots in need of a repair shop following this one. (Last week #10)
7 - Kdaw Warriors (1-2) – Got the L this week but was still pretty impressive vs the TC machine so they will stay at 7 for another week. At 1-2 I still think they will surprise a few of these teams with their organized team play but we have to wait another week to find out since they have a bye this week. (Last Week # 7)
6– Penetrators (1-1) – Also DNP this week due to the lights so nothing new to report on these guys. Next up for them are the Magnums and a good chance for them to make a statement. (Last week #6)
5– Spartans (2-1)- The first loss for this storied franchise was an ugly one. Clearly this team is not used to losing much and I don’t think they will make a habbit of it so even though this talented bunch was only able to find the endzone 1 time they are confident the next game vs Banditos will be a total domination that even their Spartan fore-fathers would be proud of. (Last Week # 3)
4– Magnums (2-1) – Got a W over the Spartans and their defense played so well it may have just about caused the Spartans to send their QB out to exile island. These guys are a good team week in and week out even when short handed so I see them causing major issues for the Penetrators and walking away with another W. (Last Week #5)
3 - 7pt Spread (2-1) – Shut out vs the Pros last game to knock them off the top, but these guys need to be careful because they don’t want to drop 2 in a row and this week they get the top dawgs, Triple Crown. They are 0-2 lifetime vs them so we will see if they can give TC their first loss this season. (Last Week #1)
2 – Novacaine (3-1) – Bold move, but after dropping the first game to the Spartans they have rolled through 2 of the top teams including a shutout vs the defending champs so these guys are rolling right now. They get Collision the week, which could be a trap game for them, but I have faith that Collision will tire from more Co-ed games over the weekend that they will not put up a fight vs these guys. (Last Week #4)
1 - Triple Crown (3-0) – Once again the only undefeated team left in the A league and it is only 4 weeks into this thing…is there anyone able to beat these guys during a regular season game??? They get the 7pt Spread in what should be a good game that could cause problems for them. (Last Week #2)
