04/20 : Greyhounds shut out Rejects 3-0
Greyhounds improve to 1-4 on the season, while Rejects drop to 1-3.
This is the first time Greyhounds shutout an opponent this season. The victory snapped a 4 game losing streak for Greyhounds.
The loss comes on the heels of a Rejects victory in their last game. This is the first time Rejects failed to score against an opponent this season.
These teams have now squared off against each other 4 times. Greyhounds had also won the prior two matchups. Their prior meeting was a Fairfax County Flag Football League "A" regular season game Sep 01 2009, 21:10, which Greyhounds won 17-14. Overall, Greyhounds is 3-1 against Rejects.

He went down and immediately grabbed his knee. I think it was at the 2 minute mark at the end of the game. He was running for a first down, tried to plant so he could cut back and just went down. Wasn`t a good sight to see. I spoke to him after the game and he told me that this injury was the opposite knee he tore before. |
