05/09 : Triple Crown upends Novacaine 17-13
Triple Crown improves to 6-1 on the season, while Novacaine drops to 5-2-1.
The victory continues a 2 game winning streak for Triple Crown which now stands at 3 wins in a row.
The loss puts Novacaine further off the winning track after a tying their last game.

TC gets ball first, goes three and out and punts.
Caines do the same thing.
TC drives down and scores.
TC kicks off and the ball lands at about the 22 yard line, kinda dies and rolls back towards to the 25. TC gets there first and recovers the kick. They move the ball to the red zone and kick a FG on 4th down, not long before halftime.
Caines don`t have time to do much anything. Score is 10-0 at half.
Caines get the ball in the second half, go on a long drive and score. 10-7.
TC answers, 17-7.
Another long drive for Caines, another TD, missed XP. Score is 17-13 with about 3 minutes left when TC receives.
TC gets a few first downs and runs the clock out.
The game looked fairly well played by both teams with no real mistakes. The kickoff recovered by TC was the difference in the game. |
