We got to see all the top teams in action for the first week in a while, but again didn’t get to see the Pens….booo-hoo :(
Surprisingly every team is still alive for a playoff spot, even the 12th ranked team so don’t let your guard down just yet.

12 - Kdaw Warriors (1-6) – Flat out looking bad right now, not sure if they have thrown in the towel or not but if they only had 8 guys show for the last game it looks like they will crawl out of the A league with only 2 games left. Sucks to have teams that are not quite ready for A come in and not give an effort. They get the Pens next week so don’t plan on them playing for 2 weeks. (Last Week # 11)

11 – Collision (1-4) – DNP but moved up because Kdaw have dropped off so much. Surprisingly they can still get in the playoff race with a win over the Rejects this week. (Last Week # 12)

10– Penetrators (1-4) – Still unable to get a read on them with only 3 games under their belt. Morale must be low for these guys but I bet the have fresh legs so if they make it into the playoffs they could win a game or 2. This week they get the Warriors in what should be the battle of who is the worse B team in A. (Last Week # 9)

9 - Greyhounds (1-4-1)– Walked away happy with a tie vs the top A team this season so they are feeling pretty good right now. Hollywood had a great game and looked like the QB from a few seasons ago when he was effective on a weekly basis. Still need another playmaker opposite #7 to be able to compete with teams on a reg basis. This week they get the Robots who are on a tear right now, but the Hounds really need a win if they want a shot at the playoffs. (Last week #10)

8 – Rejects (2-5) – Looks like these guys have regrouped and are ready to make that end of season push at the right time. With a healthy QB and a focused defense these guys could make that playoff splash they did a few seasons ago when they made it to the finals. They get Collision this week which could be an easy win if they play hard again. (Last Week #8)

7 - Bad Boyz (3-4) – Hung with TC for the most part, but again just unable to seal the deal and walk away with the 3rd loss is 4 games. They have just 2 games left so if they can win at least 1 of them they should lock in a playoff spot. So if they are able to find a way to finish games by creating a turnover or a big play to little #23 then they just may have a chance. This week they get the Spartan attack, but if they are able to strike quick and not allow them to get something going then they should be able to walk away with something. (Last Week #7)

6– Spartans (4-3)- 2 wins in a row for these guys. Nothing impressive, but a W is a W I guess. With just 2 games left for them they have just about reserved a spot in the playoffs with the fact that one of the lower teams will not will 3 more games. They fought through a tough Reject defense last game and face another threat this week in the BBz trick plays that may not suit "regular" football players so there could be a slight learning curve for them as they see how the triple forward pass is done, or the direct pass to the tackle who passes back to the center. I think this is my game of the week right here. Both teams have had very close games over the last few weeks and this one should be no different. (Last Week # 6)

5– Magnums (3-2) – Mags QB came into the game pretty confident but walked away frustrated that he couldn’t do more. A few dropped passes and a tired OL helped get them in the L column for the 2nd time this season. They are in good shape either way with 4 games left to play they are sure to lock in a playoff spot this season. This week however, they may have to fight for a W vs 7pt who they lost to in the playoffs last season. (Last Week #4)

4 – Banditos (5-2) – After a slow start in which they didn’t score more than 12 points in the first 3 games, these guys are on a 4 game run and averaging more than 2 TD`s a game. Last game they knocked off the Magnums simply because they played hard the whole game and never let up. Do they have a chink in that armor..I don’t know but it looks like they are sealing up the wholes they had earlier in the season. This week. They have just 2 games left to play and both against lower ranked teams (Hounds/BBZ) so they should lock in a good first round playoff matchup, if there is such a thing this season. (Last week #5)

3 - Triple Crown (5-1) – Looked a little unsure out there this last week, but they still scored 3 times and walked away with the win. Most time you are able to find the endzone 3 times in this league you are in good shape. Now this week they get TC in a highly anticipated game in which we all hope both teams are able to field a full squad so we get to see a good game even though TC has beaten them the other 3 times they have played each other. (Last Week #3)

2 – Novacaine (5-1-1) – Picked up a tie, but staying #1? I read your posts and agree/disagree with some but this is one that I disagree with. The should not be losing or even getting a tie vs Greyhounds at this point in the season. Early on, ok expectable, but now….7 weeks in? Nope. They just need to handle business vs TC this week and they could be back on top where most think they belong. (Last Week #1)

1 - 7pt Spread (5-1) – Easy win vs the last ranked team but they didn’t look at that. If a more competitive team would have been there it would have been a long night for them. The Spread avg over 2 TD`s throughout the season even with a shutout vs Novacaine so expect a good matchup between the #2 and #5 teams. Plus throw in the fact that both teams players know each other pretty well and Cody and a few others play with Rob and others on the same team in a Saturday league….and Magnum player Behrooz was a big part of the 7pt fall team that won the A league. (Last Week #2)
