| POWER RANKINGS | 09:57 AM |
12 - Greyhounds - Hollywood cannot do it alone
11 - Banditos - Decent organization, but not enough play makers
10 - Bad Boyz - Starting out low on the charts because they are unpredictable. After the week 1 matchup we may know what BBz team we will see this season
9 - Rejects - This tough defense should keep them out of the relegation cellar
8 - Spartans - Have a few playmakers, but is it enough to make up for the holes this new team may have in its first season
7 - Kdaw Warriors - Winners of the Fall B+ league these guys are ready for the big time with good organization and math on their side they should have a solid season
6 - Penetrators - Moving up after an impressive state tourney, these guys could make some noise this season in A
5 - Collision - The short game works for these guys and keeps teams guessing. It worked for most of the fall season so look for them to come out with more of the same
4 - Magnums - Didn`t have good numbers last season so with the start of the new season and the return of some players these guys should be back in title contention
3 - Novacaine - Not totally buying into all the x-college/pro player hype just yet because other teams have a few, but they are tough on both sides of the ball so look for them to stay around the top of the pack
2 - Triple Crown - Always a tough team with the top QB in the league, but will the exodus of players hurt them?
1 - 7pt Spread - Defending champs from the fall should be back on track after finishing strong. The problem with them is starting slow so we will see if they can maintain this #1 spot

|
| ^ | 11:04 AM |

No way I am drinkling the Penatrators` or Kdaw Kool Aid. There is no chance they are better than Boyz, Rejects or Spartans. |
|
| yup | 11:45 AM |

|

|
| no doubt | 2:35 PM |

I usually break down players and measureables, but since I got a little break before the Draft, let me give this Power Rankings team thing a shot.
The top. Until someone proves they can consistently beat Triple Crown, that`s the team to beat. The kicking game let them down last Fall. They lost a few players but their system still works. They also better themselves by playing in States and Nats while the rest of the league got drunk and fat. DO, Dre and Locs were pieces. Like New England, the Crown will retool and replace. Most importantly the QB returns--it`s a QB league and right now Jeremy is at the top.
NovaRobinson HS will give them a run. Smart athletes, good chemistry, play hard regardless of who comes out. The return of Cube raises the team`s play. With or without the NFLer`s they are good and will be there in the end.
7 Point. Got a break with TC`s kicking woes in the playoffs but every champion gets a few breaks along the way somewhere. Play great team ball with few weaknesses. Don`t like their matchups with quicker teams like TC and Caines, but they`ve seen all the A teams for a few seasons and knowledge is power. Just too hard to repeat so I`m putting them 3rd, losing the semi`s with maybe 2 or 3 losses in the regular season.
Mags. Wierd start barely making it in. Half the dudes probably ready to sign with other teams. Will play feeling guilty all year that the rest of the league has to play on grass because of their front office debacle, but their unorthodox spread O and shifty QB will limp them into the Final 4 to be ousted by a better above mentioned team.
The Miami Heat-Spartans come in next. DO-James and his Band of Brothers have become the favorite team to hate on--why? just because he and King Locs decided to take their talents to South Beach and make the league more interesting and better? Stop the hating and get ready to chase these dudes all over the field. They`ll struggle with the more experienced teams and surely will rack up the record for personal fouls and tackles while learning that this is flag and not tackle, but they have too many straight up players and game breakers to not be in contention every game. Once Slash meshes and learns how to use the talent, be afraid. But it`ll take a season. Like the Heat, maybe not this year, but probably next.
The Rejects will round back into form. Even when outmanned they stay in games because their defense and D-line is one of the best in the league every season. Can they score enough? They will miss their stud WR--a new Spartan, I told you they have weapons--but will be better on O after struggling last year and will be the KC Chiefs of A League this season.
Collision and Bad Boyz are close behind. I just cant give much love to the Boyz because of the attendance issues-- some nights loaded, some nights not. They are the Knicks. Can score with anybody but are they interested in playing defense? I know its flag and its a scoring league but at some point you need a stop....and a kicker. I like Collision but I think they`ve peaked. They`re solid in all aspects but not enough horses to hang with the biggies. The league has figured them out a bit but they can pull an upset or 2. Both these teams will hover around .500 or just above.
The Pens will take their lumps. Winning B states is an impressive weekend. But tournament play is different than the week to week regular season grind. Teams dont really get on a roll. It`s more attendance and matchups, and the Pens dont match up well--especially defensively--with the top tier teams. A .500 record would be respectable.
Banditos and Hounds will struggle. Banditoes are organized and solid but dont have enough speed. Nothing fancy here and that`s the problem. They`ll win 3, tops. Hounds the same. Getting old, lost their best player in Dre and never reload. Good O Line gives the QB time, but unless they bring in some young guns they`ll be dusted most weeks. Hollywood will look more like McNabb than McVick.
Kdaw`s bringing up the rear. They are most likely better than I have them rated but any time a team moves up to A, the swagger lasts about 1 week and they have this `oh ****` moment and realize they`ll have to play perfect every week just to have a chance. And no gimme weeks in A. They`ll run around and do their Warrior thing, and still lose most weeks. I`ll give them 2 or 3 wins for effort.
So bring on the haters. However it breaks down an interesting season begins next week. Rip me up and down--but prove me wrong! Good luck and stay healthy boys.

Wow, that is an excellent write up Mike May****. However, I can only give you an A-. You can`t use the Mike May**** moniker and not one time describe someone as being a "natural knee bender". |

We know that you wrote that stop faking. |
|
| Well | 09:12 AM |
1. Is not Locs who wrote this 2. Nice write up but you talked to nice about TC, Spartans, Rejects making me think is D.O who wrote it, then again it can be anyone from TC. 3. Sad just sad how you guys are still blaming your kicker 4. 7pt Spread got lucky because TC kicker F`d up 5. Mike My**** is a idiot 6. If the Rejects didn`t even make it to the playoffs last season. How can you rank their defense as one of the best in the league. 7. Mike Her**** is a idiot

have you ever held a conversation with DO? there is no way in hell he wrote that. one hell of a baller but most def got pushed through school. and leave Locs alone already, damn. he will run this league one day and he adds more character to it than most teams put together. i see so many haters on here yet nobody ever has a legit put down or comment. its all he sucks, they suck, they cheat, etc. |

@^ - 1. DO is a very intelligent guy don`t get it twisted. 2. Not interested in running the league. However, when Tom takes over all of flag football globally, I will put in my resume to oversee the leagues in the Caribbeans. |

I have a break from watching film--lockout yes but there`s still a draft. Interesting. It seems my analysis has created more debate on WHO wrote it then WHAT was written. Unfortunate but I can clarify a few things. Locs, DO, TC et al. are not the authors. I doubt they would describe themselves as "pieces" and certainly wouldn`t pimp TC as a favorite since they`ve jumped ship and are very high on their own Miami Spartans. I blame the TC kicker for a very makeable winning FG not to excuse the loss but to affirm a nice break for 7 pt who historically has yet to beat TC. Simple fact. 7 Spread didn`t get lucky. You dont win A with luck. They did get a break. The Rejects battled injuries and QB issues last year and still hung with every team. With a decent QB and health they were in the finals the previous season. Ask any vet of the league and they will agree the Rejects play strong D. DO would rather talk smack than analyze the league. Finally, I appreciate the kind words on the write up but unfortunately for the haters I have to talk nice about some teams--everybody doesn`t suck. Yes Locs, I did scale back on my "combine speak" for the benefit of the pedestrian flaggers. We can go there if you want but that`s another post for another time. You know "I`ve watched tape on these guys in every game they`ve ever played."....I am indeed Mayock. |

| Guess what | 08:03 AM |
Who in the hell has the time to write all this **** at all time of day and night.. Oh it Rick Ross, King Leonidas, ESPN,Swami.. Damn you need to get a job.. Those LOC`s are too tight dude is 40 years old and on here posting all this crap..
