Truthfully I told Jock Im glad Will is on our team we meet the race requirements LOL, and his personality really fits with our team. You cant be emotional and sensitive, and be on this team. Honestly he is dependable doesn`t make excuses, and MOST importantly wants too WIN.

I would bet a majority of teams do not have 100% legit rosters; not because they are trying to work in ringers but becuase they do not want to pay the out of county fees.

Spartans show up with their standard team, while 7pt Spread shows up with Cube and a few of other Novacaines top players.
Cube catches game winning TD, after burning Bigsho06 with 0:05 left on the clock.

They go on to beat and dominate the Spartans in what isn`t even a close game. Now your question is do I roster check? You`re a little late to the discussion but Cody and I had this debate a few weeks ago. And like I mentioned before and I`ll mention again as a team in A no I wouldn`t roster check. I always want to play against the best competition that is why I signed up for A. Yes,my mentality would be damn they had to bring pro bowlers to beat us but would I roster check? ABSOLUTELY NOT! IMO if it was Cube or someone who was from another team I would call BS well before kickoff....if it were ANY one else outside the league I would never question a roster or care who they bring.

That`s not the debate here. Do you really think that scenario would happen? Really? The debate is individuals being on your roster and not playing until later in the season or playoffs. Which means denying players coming back from injuries, military members, college students, etc from having the chance to play.

Ok Will...but what`s the difference? The bottom line is, they brought in a new player who you knew didn`t play for their team, and he is the reason you lost. It`s the same thing, whether the played in the league or not.

I see what you`re saying LOCS, and to be honest anyone who knows every roster for every team they play needs to step back and go play co ed with collision, but regardless of what division it is, a, b or c if I stepped on the field with a roster that was legit and the other teams wasn`t. I`d challenge, probably before than wait til after though. I do not think this is as big of a deal as everyone is making it out to be though and to each his own, just know you`re allowed to bring whoever you want when you play the spartans.

It`s really a non issue. When you put together your team, you find the best possible players you can and you put them on your roster, whether they can make 1 game or 10 games. So if I was in a spot where I needed players, chances are the ones picked up that weren`t on the roster, wouldn`t be as good as my other players.

With that being said, I think there is enough integrity in the league where you want to win with your team. Any team that would be scared enough of their opponent to recruit a bunch of players, and take the risk of getting roster checked, probably shouldn`t be there anyway.

To "if it was", I don`t think you can roster check till after a game. The refs don`t have the rosters on hand.

I have no issue with this roster check discussion. It`s a good debate and I think most people wouldn`t challenge unless it was obvious a team picked up a player who was known to be on another team (which is unlikely to happen anyway).

But to LOCS and Mike - its entertaining seeing you guys go at it but you guys getting too personal now. Maybe something you guys should handle offline or at least get back to football. Obviously there`s some deep rooted animosity there. Keep it football. Just sayin.

I cant think of any scenario where I would care to do a roster check. Somebody above said it best, this league has enough integrity where i don`t think it would concern me if i saw some new faces on a team. Besides, lets be honest we`re all guilty of playing at least 1 game with an unrostered player. LOL. Majority of the time it`s out of necessity (read: not enough players for that given night, etc..) and not because somebody is trying to stack there team. With that being said, what is considered stacking your team, when you`re playing in the A league?

Roster checks are in the rule book. otherwise , this becomes a pick up league.Is is a tool for coaches to maintain the integrity of the game. Most of us have played together long enough to notice when someone has picked up some extra players/ringers. most guys don`t say anything , but that does not mean it is acceptable. Guys complain about guys being RECRUITED and stacking all of the time.However, it is a judgement call on the coaches part , but it is an allowable procedure and I don`t think it should be taken personally. if your team has done nothing wrong- then you have nothing to worry about and move on , but the coach or team that calls for it - will be subject to some severe criticism because it rarely happens.

Since 7pt and Spartans join the league, you guys have done nothing but abuse the boards and the fields with threats and negative responses to players. Guys who come out and play for fun. The term `ringers` or `stacked teams` are B and C league terms. They don`t apply in A.

No one will pick us up - Lets see, I`ve played with Mags (Rob), Banditos (Andy), Badboys (Darren/Johnny), Pain (Hollywood), and Pitbulls (Tom/Chris). Toney has played with Rhinos. Grove, Pitbulls. Other guys Bootleggers. I mean, i think we`d be ok finding a team.

We cheated after going 4-4 and lost to better teams in playoffs - Regular season, we lost to TC, BB (last second), Chaos, and Mags. I dont` think we just laid an egg, we lost to quality teams. Playoffs we beat, Collision (who we`ve never lost to) with 9 players because of the Skins v Eagles monday night game. To be fair they were short on players also. Then we beat Mags. Rob knows every single person on our team, so I`m sure he would have at least mentioned any suspicion to me. Wolves (who we`ve never lost to) we won the game, if you think something fishy, check all the pictures.
