06/01 : MAC Daddies defeats Cougars 16-7

MAC Daddies improves to 1-0 in the postseason, while Cougars sit at 0-1.

The victory continues a 5 game winning streak for MAC Daddies which now stands at 6 wins in a row.

Coupled with a loss in their previous game Cougars is now on a two game slide.

Prior to this game, these teams had met only one other time, on Mar 22 2011, 21:00, a Fairfax County Flag Football League "B" regular season game which MAC Daddies won 21-6.

not the blowout that people were expecting?

7-7 at the half... even game by most standards.... 2nd half, cougars had a few ints and macds capitalized.... decent game from the sidelines.

Watching this game Mac Daddies dominated. Yes it ewe tied at half, but Mac daddies missed a FG on there first drive. Stoped cougars on there drive drive than daddies drive down the field and scored. Cougars get ball back and score right before half with a gift from the refs, on an iffy roughing the passer call. After half it was all Mac. Mac stops cougars on there first drive with INT. Mac goes down kicks FG, next postion cougars throw another INT. Mac scores on a long run by there QB. Cougars next postion throws another INT, game over. Tough fought game by cougars, it`s the playoffs so teams are coming to play.

Cougars came to play and made it exciting in the first half.

MacD`s struggled to execute in the first half but created 3 TO`s in the 2nd half.

MacD`s better step up thier game in order to have a shot at contending.

im sure they were just messing around. good teams should never allow cougars to score 7.

The Cougars had a great season compared to last year. Give them some props! they won 2.5 more games then last season!

Who is playing QB for MacDs?

MacDs could not figure it all out in the first half. Two big plays got them by. It looked like the MacDs were missing a few people.

Couldn`t figure it out? Had the ball four times and scored 3 times and once missed a FG? Every possession we had we went inside their 20, whereas the Cougars only got on our side of the 50 once. We dropped some picks and missed some chance on O.

Cougars played well and I give them credit, but don`t act like we weren`t clearly the better team.

Most of your possession started around midfield so getting inside the 20 wasnt that big of an accomplishment. Cougars had a nice drive in the first half. Big plays and turnovers were the difference - macdaddies had them, cougars didnt, and thats why one is moving on and the other is done.

You only prove my point that we were clearly the better team. We made the plays and controlled the game with the exception of one drive that was mainly dump passes and D penalties, which they were only able to score on 4th and goal from the 1 yardline. Game should have been 24-0.

when they put together a long drive it was luck. when you score on busted coverages and missed flags it skill and talent. you all sure are an arrogant bunch of arseholes for B Leaguers.

yea, Mac is overrated, but it is luck if the cougars score.

macd`s won the game, the score is the only thing that matters, but the fact that someone on here who may or may not be on the macd`s needs to hear that they were the better team and calls any success by the cougars "luck" is a sorry, insecure chump. the score was 7-7 at the half and when it was 10-7 with the cougars at midfield with 6:30 left on the clock, it was anyone`s game... macd`s got the pick and two plays later it was over and 16-7. done. good luck in the playoffs but show some class, huh?

Never once said they scored on luck or anything of the sort. I said if you watch it was clear who the better team was and who controlled the game.

I also said the Cougars played well and gave them their credit. You guys may want to work on the reading skills.

yeah ok, you didn`t use the word "luck"... just discounted a long drive as a result of dump passes and penalties as if style points matter... speaking of reading skills, may want to look into it as well, when you read what you wrote, you sound like a real d-bag...
