Are # a necessary? Only 8 people and have the time the refs just point at the player anyways..

re: numbers,

We`ve been lax on that. It was initially put in for stat keeping, and kept in for officials to report suspensions.

Ideally, every player should have a number - but not having one won`t preclude a player`s participation.
