Triple Crown&Penetrators

Don`t call the guys in the white labs coats just yet, but we could have the makings of an upset here. Remember the B State Champs? the team who knocked out one of Richmond`s finest this past summer and almost beat Triple Crown lite in the Spring? Looks like they are back. If there was ever a game ripe for an upset here it is. The Penetrators can heat up very quickly and have a habit of being in the game until the very end. Triple Crown on the other hand is lucky to playing this week after an awful performance in the opening round of the playoffs. Look for the Penetrators, who you can never quite shake even until the last few seconds, to make a game of it and keep the Triple Crown offense off kilter and possibly (I said possibly) win this one outright. My prediction is Triple Crown 24-21 but don`t be surprised to see that score reversed.


Wolves&Novacaine

Though both teams upgraded in the offseason, Novacaine has obviously improved their defense liabilities. This game will feature some exciting key matchups and the result of those matchups will determine the outcome of this one and maybe Novacaine`s WR corps v the Wolves secondary moreso. Though on one hand we could have the ingrediants for a high scoring game, on the other hand look for about 4 or 5 picks in this game to put the damper that. The team that comes away with the most of those will win, and that will be Novacaine, 21-17.

Hats off to TC there is a reason they win championships but the game was not really that one sided. If we had been able to punch it in and tie up the game at 14 in the 2nd half its a different game.

Actually I don`t think Penetrators were in position to tie it up. TC threw an INT up 14-7 early in the 2nd half. Penetrators got the ball at their own 15 and didn`t get 5yds in 4 plays - turnover on downs. That was the key right there because TC got the ball right back inside the 20 and punched it in.
