4 FCFFL A teams are now ranked in the top 10 A State.

Triple Crown: yes, coming in second in back to back weekend tournaments is not the same as winning one of them...but you did better this December than any team from Northern Virginia has in the past 9 years. Maintain the effort and commitment and those titles are just around the corner if not next year.

Wolves: a bitter ending, though you lost to a very seasoned state tournament competitor. I think the layoff had some effect too. You guys are capable of a much deeper run, so don`t let this shake your confidence for next year.

7 Pt Spread: Whatever went wrong during the regular season and playoffs, you sure turned it back around pretty quick. That was the 7 pt Spread from the Spring and Fall 2010 out there. You knocked out the team most predicted to win the bracket and advance to the championship. No small feat. Keep this team together!

Novacaine: unlucky draw with Gunz for the second game, but the game 1 blowout you pitched over the Va Beach team missing two of your top players was amazing. In fact, I think the FCFFL A League took out most of the Va Beach teams in the first or second games.

Penetrators: (not technically in as a FCFFL team) ... but wow, you guys proved the Bark Bowl win was no fluke. You also proved the next game after a win like that was no fluke ;) If you guys could carry that momentum next time...

We did not have as much success in the B State Tournament as we usually do. Part of the reason is that we had a major increase in the number of teams choosing to play A. That`s a good thing. I hope our overall progress as a league in both Nationals and the State Tournament continues it upwards trajectory.
