05/17 : The Penetrators pound Badboyz 37-8

The Penetrators improve to 7-0 in the late stretch of the season, while Badboyz drop to 3-5.

The loss continues a 4 game skid for Badboyz which now extends to 5 losses in a row. .These teams are very familiar with one another, having now played 8 times. The Penetrators currently owns a 3 game winning streak in this rivalry. Their previous contest occured in a Fairfax County Flag Football League "A" playoff game Nov 07 2011, 21:30, which The Penetrators won 25-24. Overall, the teams are an even 4-4 against each other.

Next up for Badboyz is Outcast (0-6-1). That game is scheduled for May 24 2012, 22:00 at Lake Fairfax#4.

The Penetrators will face off against Greyhounds (4-4) on May 23 2012, 20:00 at Lake Fairfax#4.

How does this happen? 7 players? and if so, why in the hell cant any teams get a decent turn out on a consistent basis?

BB had 8 guys to start, maybe 2 more showed up sometime soon after. But they were defnitely missing guys. BB just couldn`t figure out Pens offense, and by the time BB started moving the ball on O it was too late.

Pens have always been a very average team with only one really good player - Agent 0. Does DJ make this much of a difference?

maybe cause they been playing awhile together. Experience counts for something.

DJ is not sweet! and Agent 0 gets shutdown if you don`t give him space after he catches his short dump passes. I still think Pens are not that good. Definitely improved, but still not the best of the best.

Badboyz had 8 at gametime. 10 at half-time. No excuses...just show up and play the game.

you must play for bb because DJ is elusive and if memory serves correctly, he ran a punt back for a td and scored on another td. he not only has speed but elusiveness that most players lack. issac from sc scored on the game starting td as well. the pens have issac and dj from sc playing with them on weeknights and they are the difference.

Bad Boys looked out of it last night. They just couldn`t figure out what to do with the pens offense. Manny started off the game with a bomb to Isaac and he didnt let up on them all game.

I think picking up the two guys from SC, just put them over the top. Not in the sense that they are the best of the best. But before they were always competitive, but now they are winning some of the close games.

Picking up those two guys, allows mini-mcnabb to spread the ball around more. It also solidifies the defense more.

that dude be pulling flags all game man, this is flag football, he makes defensive stops and pulls flags like a vet. He`s not a big difference maker on offense as DJ is but he scores too.

You can`t compare DJ to Issac dont make no sense. Speed vs strength. Two different types of players, two different stat lines.

DJ played with Caines last year. Everything was great until they crashed and burned in the semis against the Lobos.

I can respect that. But IMHO Ive gone head to head with Isaac on the line and dont really want to do it again lls. He`s also picked off my qb every time we played in the past and scored in each game. Im not saying he`s the best player in the league but he def makes a difference in the middle of the field for the pens. Making a difference doesnt mean he has to have 4 tds a game.

Dj is good quick wr, suspect on D though.

bring different aspects of the game to the pens. pens already have manny who is one of the best qbs in the league. agent 0, hands down one of the fastest receivers/rushers in the league. the ***** guy got great speed. and now isaac`s versatility who ive seen play at least 4 different positions and well. and of course they have dj who will burn anyone in this league. i dare someone challenge that youngin to a footrace. they got the ammunition now. will they fold in the playoffs or will they be a true contender?
