I was not there for anyone throwing a ball at a ref but that is not how we are ... It was the guy playing NG you hit me in the face nd I brought it to the Refs attention everytime nd his reply was "I`m watching your qb I can*t watch everything" ... Now to me after the first elbow nd punch in the fist half I then TALKED to the ref again at the half then as soon as we go back on O the first 2 plays I get it again in the face nd he second one my qb had Preach broke the pocket nd the NG grabbed my jersey nd pulled me to him to get momentum nd hit me again with the ref 4 yards Way nd lookin right at me .. so i blew up but I didn`t retaliate but after the first 2 times its the Refs job to police the situation nd make sure hands are to the cheat nd not the face ... But if I has chop blocked him nd room out a knee I would be the villian just as we Re now

noone is calling you a villian. All people were saying is how poorly your team acted during and especially after the game. Sometimes refs miss calls, its reality, no reason to cry, just keep playing

BS is a skilled team. However, the behavior could have ruined it for all of us. The F this, S this, N that, could have easily gotten us banned from the county fields.

When is yelling and swearing going to get what you want? Are you 5 years old throwing a tantrum fit? is that acceptable?

The one dude w/ headphones swearing in the middle of the field 15mins after everything has settled down is a thug. Should be filed and put on Espn`s "Come`on man".

TC players even talked to the refs asking for the game to continue, until they heard the refs being sworn at.

both teams were playing normal. BS looks like a pretty good team. Game was getting pretty intense. Neither team wanted the game to end like that, refs made the call

I understand what yall are sayin but if you talk to the Refs nd it does no good then in the heat of the moment ppl lose there head I`m not sayin its ok but its justifiable to express yourself in anyway you want as long as you are not harming another person .... Unlike how I was geting sucker punched so to me that is a classless act along with or qb getting hit EVERYGAME but let us so much as body up for a flag bull nd we get a flag ... The game ended with the ref calling the game at around the 12 minute mark in the second half. I personally didnt think it was necessary but I`m not the ref. TC had just took the lead so I`m sure it didnt sit well with the BS who wanted to keep their undefeated record.

As far as the calls the game was called like every other game. The refs in this league don`t give a damn who wins. they come out to ref, make their money, and call it a night. To think they have any motive to call the game with any bias is just plain stupid

With that said BS can compete with anyone, they have solid players and a good qb, and they play hard. it` flag football that`s 95% of the battle

If you want calls down the middle then don`t talk play ball. The way BS acts as a team the refs will never respect what u what. Rite or wrong respect yourself,respect your team and opponents, respect the refs, respect the league. We play flag have fun and compete. BS finish your season out with some integrity. Win the B ship. And would love to see you play in A in the fall...

It was a good game but if you seen the game I have 2 questions ..

Question 1 how was that not pass interference to end the half against tv but it was against us on there 3rd ms long ???

Question 2 how many times do you have to ask a ref to watch the dirty shots to your face b4 he should actually take it in to consideration ???

recap:
BS gets ball, has a fairly quick drive and scores a TD after a couple of nickle/dime passes and then a long pass down the sideline. go for 2 and don`t get in.

TC gets the ball, moves the ball slowly to ~18 and stalls. kicks a FG.

BS gets the ball with about 4 minutes or so, i`m not sure. they continue to move the ball, fairly quickly, and get in the red zone. the bottom line is they go for it on 4th and don`t score, half over.
(this drive had two big plays in the red zone. in one, the BS receiver caught a pass while jumping out of the end zone, then full-on dove back into the end zone. 15-yard personal foul. i don`t see how this can even be argued as it was blatant and has always been a rule. the second big play was on 4th. the ball was thrown to the BS receiver, and the TC LB (which was me), was behind him. I came up, maybe a little early, batted the ball, but also made contact with the WR from behind. i think the refs made a good no-call since i batted the ball first, but i`ll admit i wouldn`t have been shocked to see PI there.)

2nd half (score is 6-3 BS):
TC gets the ball and consistently moves the ball downfield and scores a TD. 10-6.

BS gets ball and gets to about mid-field. This is where junk goes haywire, so i`ll just give my point of view and what i remember. On a pass completion of ~10 yards, there`s a block in the back penalty. then a personal foul, so the ball is moved to about the 20 or so. on the next play, the BS QB scrambles for about 25 yards, but there were more penalties (can`t remember if there was a block-in-back, but definitely were personal fouls). at this point the refs called the game.

i personally tried to approach the refs and talk them into letting the game continue, but as i approached, there were 4-6 BS players acting like they were on Jerry Springer screaming directly at the refs. obviously at this point nothing was going to be done.

that`s the recap from my point of view. i wasn`t in the trenches where "supposedly" dirty play was going on or whatever. I also think the refs called a fair game. I`ll leave it at that.

BS is a good team. I hope they stick around and play in the A league. i`m not happy the game ended the way it did, but there`s nothing i can do about that.

1st TC made a play on ball to end the haft. good physical play. Refs not going to call that kind of play with now time left. BS call went against you because he wraped the man up as he was going for the ball.
2nd all you can do is tell the ref what going on on the line but nut cus him and the player out not going to work in your favor.

If that play was called pass interference TC would have reacted like you guys did. Cody and I discussed the play in real time and he thought it was clean I thought it was PI. Not anything bias though

(from April 2009) I got this from the County today:

"I received a barrage of email from parents and the lacrosse commissioner about the F-bombs and other foul language being constantly used within earshot of kids at the park. Some parents are very irate about the behavior of the men"

Our (FCFFL) comments:

Preserving our field space is more important to us as a league than any one player (or players) self-control. We`re going to instruct officials to assess a 15 yard unsportsmanlike penalty for any profanity that they hear, and a game ejection + additional game suspension for a second occurrence from the same player.

I can`t stress how important this issue is to us. I know its hard to keep some things in check in the heat of the moment, so every coach and player should make it a point to remind all teammates of this policy early and often.

I don`t normally take a serious tone, but this is one of the few times I`ve ever heard of a game getting stopped because of foul language.

Everyone needs to pull back and realize that the use of these fields is a privilege, not a right and we`re very lucky to have the space that we do. There are ways to address the issues you have without cursing, swearing or threatening and to behave that way does nothing but hurt the reputation this league has worked to build since 1994.

I hope that in the future, everyone will stop and think about how they`d feel if we didn`t have this league anymore.

BS 12 is a cry baby. Lets hope they keep their squad together for the fall and move up. Then A league will be interesting again and there will be plenty of controversy on the board

I have played all forms of football and my team comes from the down field blocking league, I`m talking about punches, blatant elbows not swim move/spin move elbows but just straight cheap shots ... We may argue and talk trash but that does not mean the ref should let teams get away with CHEAP SHOTS cause they don`t like/respect a team we all have work in the morning so i think if the refs would have took notice to complaints rather then just turn his head the game would have got finished . We shall see how the out come of a whole game goes between us in the up coming season

It`s all good. We had a good buddy who got kicked out of the league for the remainder of the 2009 Fall Season during a game vs. The Badboyz for losing it on the refs. He`s a stand up guy too, it happens.
