10/04 : GameFace beats Wolves 21-14

GameFace improves to 3-0 early in the season, while Wolves drop to 2-1.

The victory continues a 2 game winning streak for GameFace which now stands at 3 wins in a row.

The loss ends a 2 game winning streak for Wolves.

This was the first meeting between these two teams.

RECAP...

Since I was doing the stats for this one I can give a pretty good recap:

Score was 0-0 at the half, after a few long drives and INTs or turnovers on down. Both teams were playing extremely well on defense, especially: Wolves in the secondary, GameFace on the D-line.

In the latter part of the second half, GameFace drove down the field and put 7 on the scoreboard. Wolves answered with their own drive and scored with about 7 minutes left in the game. GameFace returned the ensuing kickoff for a touchdown to go up 14-7. Wolves threw a pick just after the 2 min warning - GameFace scored 2 or 3 plays later on a pass to #0 to go up 21-7.

Wolves started from their 8, QB hits #1 for a 92 yard catch and run to close the gap to 21-14.

Wolves attempt an onside kick with about 20 secs left, GameFace recovered it - game over.

Qb for wolves is same guy they`ve had. I think he`s the old coyotes qb

Is Tom, the commissioner, and yes he use to quarterback the coyotes back in the day
