Whos our preseason picks in A, B, and C ?

Is outcast good?

NO

to say as there are enough new teams (and old ones returning) to muddy the water. If we go off last spring:

For A, I would assume it`s the usualy favorites - TC, 7pt, wolves. I would say pens since they are defending champs, but it appears they have a new team. Will be interesting to see how the pens do with a new team.

B+ - not sure? Outcast and banditos moved down from A last year, so mayeb one of them. Weapon XR won B in the spring, so maybe them. Don`t know much about the other teams there

B - Maybe Shockers since they won C in the spring? Helltown lost to them in ship, but maybe this could be their season.

C - looks like 3 teams returning to C that made the playoffs there in the spring season, so maybe of them can close it out this season.

Best part is that preseason means nothing! we should know what`s going on after 3 weeks of games!

A - gotta go with Pens reigning champs or TC runners up
B+ - XR & Outcast arent in the league anymore. Im saying Banditos 4-5 in A last season or Bootleggers
B - Shockers
C - Rude buddah

A League
1) 7Pt Spread - Great Bark Bowl - Can they Continue?
2) Gameface - Pens but new name - What changes did they make
3) Triple Crown - Always up there - Can they finish?
4) Showtime - D is in place, now how about the O?
5) Wolves - They`ve won before, and we know they can again.
6) Collision - Dangerous, but are they ready to win consistently?
7) Pain - Losing the greyhounds name. Dissappoints me, as a greyhound owner, should be much more competitive if they have more sunday players.
8) Novacaine - Capable of pulling the upset any game. But consistency and turnout were always issues.

A League is probably much more even across the board than it has been in recent years. Correc me if I`m wrong but every team but Novacaine and Showtime have won a championship at some point.

B+ League

1) Whoopdiddy - Outcast with some new faces.
2) Weapon XR - reigning B Champs
3) Banditos - Dropping from A, but they`ve won here before.
4) Bootleggers - Great regular seasons, zero championships
5) Showtime - Dont remember much, but good team speed I think.
6) Acid Reign - They always seem to make noise when it matters ,but they need to be more consistant.
7) Hit Squad - Don`t know.
8) Pimp Hands of Fate - Competitive team, but will struggle against the top teams.

From recent history, one of the top 3 will win this.

weapon xr is not playing this season. Word is that half of weaponxr players went to Whoopdiddy so i guess they are a combo of outcast and weapon xr players. Too early to tell who will win it all this season.

Definitely agree with #1 but TC, Showtime, Wolves and Collision could be a toss up. TC hasn`t been the same dominating team as they once were. Showtime could be above TC with the addition of the Bodysnatcher`s QB. Collision should jump over Wolves because they have their normal squad along with Truth players and WuW`s QB and just won summer league under the name Natural Harvest. Wolves just lost a big target in Josh going back to Collision so I`d place them as the 6th. But like I said, that group of teams is all a toss up considering all but Showtime run close to the same offense.

If Outcast and Weapon Xr did combine, why would they not move up to A?

One of the reasons I put my disclaimer at the bottom. A league is very even this season. As shown in game one between Novacaine and TC. my #8 beat my #3. I still think TC will end the season in the top 3. They usually do. But this could be a tough year for them.

Showtime. Its my understanding they aren`t bringing too many of the offense boys over from BodySnatchers. So we know they should have a really good D, but how is their O going to be?

If Novacaine showed up full squad every game. They could make a run at the top 4. easily. Pain has the players, but they need slash to be there every game. And they just need more consistency.

To: Re - WeaponXR is on the site. Its their name. Whoopdiddy is a fairfax athletics team, that picked up a lot of the outcast team. Why would weaponxr be folding? what info do you have?

maybe someone that plays for them? word is from another post on the boards is that everyone left weaponx to join whoopdiddy. maybe they didnt like the way things were ran? hard to see how that`s possible considering they just won

Hey loser, you`re preseason rankings look pretty terrible after week 1. Stick to jerking it in ********s basement.

definitely came out flat. preseason rankings were obviously going by the mindset "what have you done lately" 7pt is probably a tournament team cus they can get everyone to show up and play at a high level. they don`t seem to care about these regular season games until they matter.

but atleast he did preseason rankings. no one else did.

Pre-season rankings never seem to work out. Not a whole lot right on these.
