Slash gave up on another team mid-season? Wow. Last time he did that, the Spartans went to the championship game without him. Are we going to see another Spartan-like rise to the title game from Pain? LOL! Probably not. Don`t get me wrong, I like Woody, but Ole Noodle Arm isn`t quite the same QB as D`Ohverated was. I think this is quite possibly, the end of Pain. |
|
| WTF | 1:32 PM |
Why would Slash just up and go to TC of all teams in the middle of the season? WTF is that about? |
|
| they | 2:10 PM |
going to Nationals with TC and want to get some work in before then |

Yea Slash talked to me at the beginning of the season saying that he didnt want to play weeknights at first. I convinced him to come out for weeknights but he wasnt into it and really wanted to have a shot at nationals which I knew all along. He decided to play with TC to build chemistry and work on plays and what not before the rosters locked. There are no hard feelings on our end, he is still my boy, and we wish TC the best of luck at Nationals. |
|
| wondering | 2:30 PM |
what he adds to TC? Unless Jeremy`s leaving they dont need a backup Q. Wildcat? Jeremy`s a better runner so why bother with that? |

Does Slash still play with Pain on Sunday? |

So chuck quit Pain Weeknight/sunday to joing TC? What position? |
|
| ^ | 2:37 PM |
yea, i`m interested in what position, as i wouldnt think he fits anywhere but QB |

They are going to have some good double qb plays. No doubt about it. Slash is a great QB and has all the hardware to show it. |

No doubt Chuck can play but just seems kind of messed up to leave a team if you play qb to go run with another team for "chemistry" I mean it`s a one weekend tourney and they have the best qb in the league already. You might throw 2 or 3 double passes all weekend. Rather have Chuck run with Pain. QB spot is tough to replace |
|
| Have to agree.... | 3:03 PM |
Kind of lame to say `I`m not really into it, and want my shot at nationals.` Basically saying, `hey Pain, you suck, I would rather play with a better team, even though I will only get to throw the ball 2-3 times a game...tops.` It`s not like he`s going to be playing defense. Did he bring his boy with him to TC also? |
|
| he | 3:22 PM |
played slot WR last night |
|
| Slash | 3:36 PM |
@Grove that is the main reason for the switch as its very hard for me to come weeknights therefore Pain would be without a QB somenights. Taht way pain can foucus on a qb who can come every night as the have the Bad Boyz QB now. This way if i have to miss a game it wont hurt TC as much as it would Pain. @ have to agree and i never said i was never into it its just hard for me to get out on the weeknight with a child thats in school and a wife that works till 9pm 3 nights a week. |
|
| ^ | 01:12 AM |
kinda weak...just sayin (your timing is questionable, considering Sunday`s events) |
|
| what | 2:02 PM |
Slash`s reasoning definitely makes sense and is not "questionable". |
|
| Crazy | 2:13 PM |
ITS FLAG FOOTBALL GET OVER IT!! DUDES GOT TOO MUCH TIME ON YOUR HANDS WORRIED ABOUT ANOTHER MANS BIZ!!!! |
|
| This is funny | 2:41 PM |
how is slash a threat at WR? great QB. no doubt. But if i was playing D against him, I would figure every time he touched the ball he was going to scramble and throw it. he`s not out running anybody at this point in his career. |
|
| Eh | 4:54 PM |
Give Slash a break. Timing and motivation are definitely suspect. But, it`s hard to argue a man`s family commitments. After all, this is only flag football. No one outside of our message boards really cares about our trophies and tourney wins.
Publicly, Pain seems to be taking it in stride. I`m sure they`re kind of pissed privately though...at least I`d be. Offensively, Slash is probably the best thing that`s happened to those dudes. Man, what a crazy two days for that squad. You can`t make this stuff up. |
|
| This is funny | 6:26 PM |
I`ve got nothing against slash. And to "eh", I dont know who was arguing about family commitments? did I miss something?
what I don`t understand, is how slash is the best thing to happen to TC when TC has been pretty good without him already. And if slash isn`t playing QB for them, what does he add? If he is playing QB for them, what happened to their QB? |

Staph adds Shane and Tyson, plus since Nationals are in WVA this year, he gives them redneck cred. |
|
| ^ ^ | 00:38 AM |
fair enough. so does staph play? bc it seems like TC would have a better person at every position. with an argument to be made at the qb position. |

I believe Eh was saying that Slash was the best thing offensively to happen to us (Pain). |

Definitely. Anytime you can add a top caliber QB like Staph you do it. And when he brings along 1-2 really good wideouts, it`s a win-win. Conversely, Staph bolting really hurts Pain. Now, it`s tough to argue who the best wideout they have is. It could be Woody, if he`s not playing QB or Sterling. Neither are guys you`d call top caliber A receivers. Both are better defenders in my book. |

Sterling Pain | |

Its no hard feelings to Slash he still cool in my book we just got to figure something else out and move on from this. I back Keenon at qb all the way and we will get through this. I wish Slash good luck with the rest of his season but at the end of the day "PAIN" has to move on and get back to winnig how every we gotta do it. Its no need to get on here to bad mouth Slash about his choice he`s a grown man and can do what he wants with that being said i wish we could just move on from this and get back to having fun because if anyone should be upset about this should be who it effected which is our team we just wanna put it behind us and move on. |
|
| yo | 2:26 PM |
Real question is are they still playing with Pain on Sundays |
|
| I think | 3:50 PM |
If the best of Pain and the best Novacaine combined into 1 team they could be top tier.
"Novapaine" anyone? |
|
Miller Pain asst coach | |
| 4:29 PM |
Yes they are still playing with us Sundays. Everything is all good. They want a shot at a National title, this is their best chance. We have talked and they will be back in the Spring with us for both weeknights/Sundays.
And yes I would love to have some of Novacaines players... Dumbells message me lol. |

Sorry, I`ve been out of the game for awhile now boys. You know your normal fall vaycay to Pattaya.. beautiful beaches, amazing cuisine, seductive Thai she-boys.. errr sorry getting off topic. So I know I`m late to the man party.. but why is this a buttbuster for anyone?
Shane and Tyson normally run with TC for nationals anyways, Slash is just trying to ride the tails of their perfectly form fitting under armour. Yeah it leaves Pain without a QB for week nights and comes right after a Sunday Pain meltdown and right before a weeknight TC matchup, but hey let a man make his own decisions. Who are we to pass judgement on what men a man messes around with on the week nights, just so long as he is home on Sunday with his old steady.
On a side note.. SBreezy you can`t keep using the line "i rarly even get on here and say anything" when you posted just as much as Manmeat Miller. |

| Slash | 10:38 PM |
For the record was supposed to go up to nats with TC last with Shane and Tyson but couldn`t get off work. |
