11/26 : Triple Crown wins A championship vs Collision 14-10

Triple Crown improves to 3-0 in the postseason, while Collision exits at 2-1.

The victory continues a 2 game winning streak for Triple Crown which now stands at 3 wins in a row.

The loss ended a 7 game winning streak for Collision. This is the fewest points scored in a game this season by Collision.These teams are very familiar with one another, having now played 7 times. Their previous contest occured in a Fairfax County Flag Football League "A" regular season game Oct 08 2012, 21:00, which Collision won 13-12. Overall, Triple Crown is 5-2 against Collision.

Gametime temperature was a frigid 35 degrees with Scattered Clouds in the vicinity.

Congrats to TC for getting back over the hump.

This game was 3-0 (Collision field goal) at the half. Both teams drove, neither could get into the endzone.

In the second half, Collision was driving and inside the TC 20. Triple Crown scored on a 95 yard pick 6 to go up 7-3.

TC stopped Collision and took possesion - scored again on a double pass throw-back to their QB to go up 14-3.

Collision scored with about 7 minutes left to cut the lead to 14-10. They stopped TC and forced a punt.

Collision drove down to just outside the 20, clock ticking down from under a minute to play and no timeouts left - TC intercepted - game over.

Who in the hell from TC can take a pick 6 for 95yds? This was a close game I see but good job TC on a outstanding playloff run! Knocked off three top teams to win it all.

I`m sure those guys will be playing with someone else in states. 7pt, wolves, etc. It`s going to be interesting.

TC is making a run at States this weekend since Jeremy is not making states as well as a couple other key players.
