So it came down to this today at work. Watch funny cat videos on YouTube or rank the teams in A. Either way, I`m doing my part for the furlough. Naturally I chose the cat videos, but it seems doing a search for "funny pussy" didn`t sit well with our I.T. guys so I guess I`ll rank you girls instead.

1) Triple Crown - Look, I`ve always said that you`re number one until someone knocks you off. TC is the reigning champ, so they get the top spot. They’re getting older though, and the rotating cast of characters around Jeremy Biebersdorf could take its toll. When your most consistent guys are a member of the lollipop guild, a Samoan and a token ginger it’s hard to produce results.
2) Collision - Took TC to the wire last season, and I expect they`ll be in position to do it again. With their Forrest Gump-esque leader at QB and some nice weapons at the WR core, my fave idiot savant of football could put up some nice numbers this season. The question on this team is what it’s always been, can they close? In my opinion, the answer is no. They have about as much of a chance to improve in that department as Jenny had of surviving AIDS.
3) 7 Point Spread - Always a contender, if they can get their guys to show up to the regular season games they could take the title. But, like usual, they won`t. Grove and Andy the Rolly-Polly Puppy QB will be too obsessed with seeing who can be the next Kobayashi to actually challenge for a title this year.
4) GameFace - Mini-McNabb and the Cold Stone Creamery boys joining are back to put in a team that`ll probably be one and done in the playoffs, again. They looked okay in the Winter, but let’s face it, it was Winter and they had part of Collision and 7 Point Spread running with them. Without the extra help, especially on the defensive side of the ball, look for a mediocre season out of LameFace.
5) Pain - Come one guys. Pain, Greyhounds, Painhounds…It doesn`t matter what you call yourselves; you`ll suck at weeknights like you always do. Your only consolation is you have 3scarppy teams below you to maybe get some wins against this year. Staph will probably leave you for TC again 2 weeks in and you`ll spend the entire season trying to find a QB all while hoping that Ole Noodle Arm `roids up and stops being the Tim Tebow of flag football.
6) Banditos - I`m so confused. I thought this was the "A" division. Why are the `bots registered? Did someone upgrade their programming? Guys, this isn`t frat house rugby, you know that right? So you tore through “B” in the Fall and decided to step up. Maybe you didn’t have a choice? You do have the greatest full-time coach in Flag Football, so things could work out I guess.
7) Bootleggers - Welcome to the show ladies, glad you finally grew a set and stepped up. It`s a shame you never won that "B" trophy, but hey, stepping up to "A" will help fill that empty spot on the mantle, right? Oh, maybe not so much.
8) Primetime - Hi! Welcome to the best flag league in town. You have about as much chance of winning a game as JMU does of getting out of the first round of March Madness. Don`t get too down though, it`s just what happens. It`s like you jumped straight from the NCAA Women`s Tourney to the NFL. It`s a completely different game on a whole new level. I did notice you all have a ton of video on YouTube if anyone’s looking for a scouting report. Or you could just watch a bunch of Harlem Shake videos. Probably more value in those. And more football.

As someone who was witness to the HPD starting the `original` riot in 2000, yes it is a time honored tradition at JMU. However, that ******* forgot who he was and what the team had worked so hard for. He`s 6`6", pretty easy for cops to pick out of the crowd. He put one wild drunken night (like there aren`t 3 or more of those every week at JMU) ahead of his team`s goals. Should have been suspended the whole game IMHO. Making out in the stacks, na man, sex in the stacks. Just feel like my second home didn`t deserve to be included in a shot at the poor man`s Primetime

come on man, while I agree in principal (I hated the addition of the play-in games), the first four is the `first` round now, and the round of 64 is considered the `second` round. No worries though. I was was shocked they played so well without Goins in the first half. Either way, Indiana and Zeller loom large Friday, so it was fun while it lasted.

I mean, I read that PT drove into the RZ a couple times against PT, but they really aren`t a defensive minded team. We`ll see though, anything is possible. Los Lobos are back in the picture? Hrm...probably pop them into the 3 or 4 spot. Collision playing takes some talent away from Wolves. Will be interesting to see how that plays out. It also depends on who`s playing QB for the Wolves. Either way, I don`t think they can unseat TC or Collision.
