Things to do | 10:45 AM |
When can we expect the rest of the schedule to be posted? |
|
true | 12:24 PM |
some of us have to adjust our work schedule to play and it i kinda hard when you can`t give a week`s notice. |
|
C`mon Tom | 11:59 PM |
Same thing happens every year. How can you pay all this money to put a team in the league and not even be able to see a schedule for the full season. What do you know, it`s Tuesday night and there is no schedule for next week. #nolessonslearned #sameolsh*tdifferentyear #getorganized |

If your going to complain - why not do something to assist. All 3 of you, or the same person 3 times. Needs to get a life. If it bothers you that much. Don`t sign up next year. |

How about you adjust your work schedule at the beginning of the year to say that you`re gonna have at least 1 game between the hours of 8 and 10 on any given day between Monday - Thursday! |
|
OR | 1:58 PM |
a complete schedule could be released like every other league in every other sport in every other level of competition. |

4sho!

not | 4:33 PM |
to diffcult to know you are playing nights |

Lets not all bash Tom, he does a great job running our league, and its understandable to put part of the schedule up before the whole thing is complete. That being said, some of us do have work commitments and other activities to schedule so the more notice the better. |
|
First Off | 6:01 PM |
To OR and ^
And every season the full schedule will be posted. Eventually. And every season teams like yours and others make specific requests to play on certain nights at certain times and Tom does everything he can to make everyone has happy as possible with their schedule.
So if you want to complain. Talk to you captain. Who probably had special requests too. Complaining doesn`t do anything positive. You just love complaining behind an anonymous name. Too embarrassed to put a name next to it. To email your captain or Tom and ask.
People like you are not needed in this league. This league will prosper without you. And will still dominate every other league in the area.
P.S. Most leagues will post 1-3 weeks of schedule. And then post the remaining schedule as soon as its complete. It all depends on when league play starts after registration closes. |

Point taken | 7:23 PM |
we understand it is hard and I am not complaining. When you work for the government - you just can`t go and adjust your schedule and everyone requires at least a weeks notice. Unfortunately , some of us either have to put in leave request or use vacation. As much as I love football - I would rather take vacation time with my wife and kids. |

^^^^^^^^^^ | 7:36 PM |
seriously, is a government working complaining about someone not working hard enough???? |
|
play | 7:39 PM |
on the weekend. |

^ | 8:00 PM |
Are there that many people out there that work until 8 or 9 o`clock at night? I mean seriously, couldn`t you come from work and go straight to a 9:00 game one time if you had to? |

Sorry for the delay, a few teams have changed offnights.
I try to keep most teams on consistent schedules.
I actually DO HAVE the schedule loaded, just a matter of pushing games to the live schedule.
Someone mentioned that most leagues have the full season posted in advance...well this is a league where teams within each division have nights they cannot play which conflict with other teams in their division. Rather than have a C team forced to play in A (and vice versa) I`d rather do "schedule calculus" to accomodate those teams so they can play at their level.
This does not make life easy as a scheduler, lol, but most of you know me - and know that avoiding a forfeit and preventing teams from playing on a night or timeslot they cannot is the prime importance here.
I could just throw up a schedule and say "deal with it" - but that`s not me.
Again, sorry for the delay. Next week is up, the rest of the season will be up tomorrow. |

Word | 08:36 AM |
Thanks Tom. As for the donkeys that sit around in their mom`s basement, with nothing to do....sorry, but there are others in this league that actually work or have a wife and kids (with family commitments).
Go back to playing Black Ops on your xbox, loser. |

Every season it`s somebody Tom. This guy talking about taking leave to play in a flag game, dude get a life.. |
|
great | 3:13 PM |
Thanks Tom, I think some knuckleheads on here were taking it as a bashing towards you when i dont think that was the case at all. Just a matter of the week quickly approaching and people needing to be aware of what is ahead. For the person saying "How about you adjust your work schedule at the beginning of the year to say that you`re gonna have at least 1 game between the hours of 8 and 10 on any given day between Monday - Thursday!"
that doesnt work with everybody in the corporate world, nor is it too much to ask for a weeks notice like the gentlemen above. and for your information, the league does need me, you, and all the other teams involved. without teams there is no league genius. Im pretty sure Tom can confirm that as well. So again, Tom i dont think the intention was to bash you, just needing a little information on the upcomin events. Thanks for your hard work and generosity in accomodating teams requests on playing nights etc.

Way to back track on being a d1ck.
every league needs teams. every team needs players. nobody needs you.. |
|
^^^ | 5:31 PM |
I didnt have to backtrack very far, and maybe now you know how others feel about your unnecessary comments and you`ll think twice about being awiggleto begin with(probably not though). And for the record "you" is the individual, you need a group of these to form a team(s), which then allow for a league to exist. So again, we are all needed.
Im done with this conversation.
Good luck on the remainder of your season sir. |
