06/03 : WhoopDiddy! wins B championship in OT vs Hawks 17-14

WhoopDiddy! improves to 3-0 in the postseason, while Hawks exit at 2-1.

The loss ends a 6 game winning streak for Hawks.

;	Thank you. It is still undecided on the move up. There is a reason we were the 8th seed and sub .500 team. It would be an honor to play in A, not sure if we are there yet. The B division was really close. Ignite was fire till the leagues sack leader was injured. OC/AR/Hawks - all very solid teams, with a lot experience in the league. Bulldogs have a very very high powered offense. Union/Cougars will fight you hard and pull the tough wins. Happy to hear your moving up. Good luck next season.

;	WD got some lucky breaks. Should have thrown a pick in the end zone that somehow DB not only dropped but popped up into the air to a WD WR. On the flip side the next drive Hawks player drops a TD and WD player makes great diving Int. WD defense made the plays in OT to hold the Hawks out of the end zone for the win. So have to give them credit but definitely got some lucky bounces.

;	This was a very competitive and clean game. Each team had their fair share of breaks and penalties. Hawks never let up tying the game up w/ t<30secs remaining in the game. This game could have gone either way. I was surprised they didnt kick the tying field goal in OT (granted they had missed the XP in the first half). To the roster inquiries. Whoopdiddy players, please do not respond to this, it is an attempt to discredit our season. Coaches/Captains - its within your rights to request a roster check at kick off. I informed all my players to bring a government issued photo ID to the game. All my suited up players are on the roster - ya`ll see the team picture online soon enough. They must be talking about the players in WD! Tshirts #20 - DL bootleggers, #42 - OL Outcast and #99 - currently a FA. Anyway. Good game Hawks.

;	Just to nip this now - no one played for WhoopDiddy! who was not on their roster. They use the full roster quota and the player who was QB`ing them in the playoffs is at around the middle of the roster. This means 12 or 13 players were added after he was, which also tells me that he was also most likely on the roster last Fall as well. Coaches voted to continue to allow teams to use any rostered players at any point in the season even if those players had not set foot on the field once prior to playing. The vote wasn`t even really close.

;	Don`t make the jump to A yet unless you are ready to trim some of the fat. #43 - looks like you are really smart. Like you said before, you have some A caliber players but most of the top teams have all A caliber players. I say, stay in B or B+ and have fun with your current group or cut some guys and recruit/add A caliber players and compete up there. Congrats on the ship.

;	I`m with ya`ll. I know that to be competitive in A i`m gonna have to make some roster movements. Whoopdiddy! is all compromised of friends (HS, College, work) or players we have played with previously. That is one thing i would like to continue to remain true to. Also if i am slimming down the roster, i`ll be cutting myself lol. It was good to win the B league, but any one of the playoff teams could have won this year. Anyway, no decision has been made yet and won`t be till august. Ya`ll have a good summer. It was a fun season - look forward to seeing ya`ll in the fall.

;	Great championship game by hawks. Class team. As far as our season goes, we did not lose this year with our full team, which was only the first two weeks. We had attendance issues but handled that internally and everyone became committed to our team. This championship is no fluke and we may have 2 seasons as whoopdiddy but we have been in this league for many years (x rated). The "hate" I saw on these messages about our roster is pretty sad. Whoever y`all are take your Ls with dignity.

Sandbag the reg season in a lower division, then get your "whole team" to come out for the playoffs to win the championship? If you win, you move up, that`s the way it works. The only way you can justify staying in B, is if you think your team didn`t deserve to win the championship.
