How so? they should beat Outcast, putting them at 4-4. Who knows if the Pens will play hard their last game against Badboyz since they have already clinched, but the worst badboyz can do is 4-5. Banditos need to win 2 out of their next 3, or they will be 4-5, and badboyz have the head to head over them. Then you have 7pt, who basically needs to win out.

Pens, Im still not convinced theyre legit. With playoff lives on the line, I think BBoyz and Hounds will beat them. In which case, it will put BBoyz (beat Caines), Hounds (beat BBoyz), and Caines (beat Hounds) all at 5-4 (assuming Boyz and Caines beat Outcast). Then I believe it comes down to Point Diff in the 3 way tie, which I believe will go to the Caines. They beat Hounds by 13, lost to BBoyz by 2. Hounds beat BBoyz by 1, lost to Caines by 13. BBoyz beat Caines by 2, lost to Hounds by 1.

That would mean Greyhounds were odd man out?

What if Banditos beat Wolves and Outcast and lose to 7pt? Then Wolves, Caines,, Banditos, Hounds, and BBoyz all end up 5-4...and I think they are all 2-2 in that 5 way tie except Banditos who would be 1-3 witht heir only win of those teams coming against Caines.

It`s possible that teams #2-#9 could finish with identical %, 5-4 or 4-3-2, which is why only one team in A is marked as having clinched a spot for now. If anyone can demonstrate here for me (given my possible scenario above) how any other team has technically clinched a spot in the top 8 I will mark that team as clinched. Don`t get me wrong - I am not suggesting no other team has (technically) - just that I haven`t bothered to do the headache math yet.

(you can assume TC for the time being will be the team in A assigned to play a B team for game #9...which will count in the standings)

Our situation is tricky. We`re in a drivers seat to control our own destiny, but 1 loss and it gets extremely ugly.

My guess in the magic number is 5. As in, the first team to 5 losses will be on the outside looking in.

They`re done, got a couple lucky wins early on against Showtime and BadBoyz but showing their true colors right now. Gonna lose by 2 TDs next week and home for the playoffs

Got them going 1-2 to finsh the season. They haven`t won a game this season they they weren`t supposed to win. Also, got Badboys finishing up 1-1. Badboys have the head to head. Additionally, I have Hounds losing also, which have all three team with 4-5 records. Hounds have the head to head over both, thus Robots still on the outside.

Who are the real A teams? Wolves, TC, Pens, showtime, Hounds, Badboyz and Novacaine? 7pt beat the wolves, lost to TC by 1, beat the Hounds, and lost to Novacaine by 4. Based on that, it sounds like they are competing just fine, no? Banditos are definitely suspect, but still only lost by 6 to Badboyz, lost by two td`s to both pens and hounds, but beat novacaine 28-0. I would say altogether that`s competitive. As for Hokies and outcast, not sure what`s up with them

If Pens win:
7pt - 1 win and in
Novacaine - In (with likely win over Outcast)
Banditos - Need to win 2 out of 3, or win 1 and need Outcast to upset Caines
Badboys - Need Novacaine and/or Banditos to drop some games to get to same record
Wolves - In
Greyhounds - More than likely In if even with loss to Pens, because of pf/pa

All that being said, I think Robots miss if this happens.

Bad thing for the Badboys is their pf/pa... they have head to heads vs Caines & Banditos, but if it comes down to pf/pa, they will possibly be on the outside looking in.

what seed you are going into the playoffs, it`s how you finish. Just because a team goes in as one of the top seeds, doesn`t guarantee them a victory. An invitation to the party is all a team needs. You can`t be that ignorant that you don`t see this, Richmond Player?

but if we combined our teams and had less teams (like your leagues) we would have just as talented teams. Our league is watered down. We would win States and Nationals if we had less watered down teams, but less people would get to play. It comes down to what you are playing for. Is it a rec league or are you trying to play ultracompetitively.

everybody who`s complaining that the league is watered down, are the same people who would complain that the same 1 or 2 teams win every year if we trimmed the talent.

Richmond chooses to only have a couple of A teams that are "stacked" with talent. Yet 3 of their "A" teams lost to our watered down A teams.

And for everyone who hates on Outcast, 7Pt, Ditos, etc, calling them B teams. Its real easy to call teams out when posting anonymously. We know that these teams burned you at some point either by kicking you off the team, or beating the cr@p out of your team. They have all earned the right to play in A.

I`ve played in VA beach league as well right out of school when I stayed in that area and the competition was the same. States, barkbowl the results speak for themselves.

7pt is arguebly one of the best teams in this league. They have almost every teams # in A. Regular season don`t mean a thing! If every team brought out their playoff squad each game, you would see a significant difference in the records and level of play. Once the playoffs start its a new year and everyone is 0-0!

Everyone knows it comes down to the winner of the Banditos vs 7PT game to see who is in and who is out.

I think more teams would rather see Banditos get in. Everyone knows 7PT can bring it. Would you rather play a one time B+ Champion, or a 2 time A Champ?

I think 7PT Beats Banditos in a close game to close out the season.
